Scope and our role

This Policy applies to personal information eStoreware USA handles for its own website, sales, marketing, account administration, billing, licensing, support, hosting, and professional services.

When eStoreware USA hosts, supports, or integrates a client's ecommerce store, we may process personal information on that client's behalf as a service provider or processor. The client merchant controls its storefront privacy notice, customer relationship, data collection, legal basis, and consumer-request process. Questions about purchases from a client storefront should normally be directed to that merchant first.

Information we collect

Sources of personal information

We collect information:

• Directly from you when you contact us, submit forms, create an account, purchase, request support, attend training, or provide project information.
• Automatically through website, account, licensing, hosting, security, and diagnostic technologies.
• From service providers and third parties, including payment processors, hosting providers, software marketplaces, vendors, referral partners, and client-authorized systems.
• From public business sources when reasonably necessary for sales, support, fraud prevention, or account administration.

How we use personal information

• Provide website, hosting, plugin, integration, licensing, training, support, and professional services.
• Process orders, payments, invoices, refunds, renewals, trials, license activations, and account requests.
• Communicate about projects, service status, security, product updates, renewals, and support.

Payments and Stripe

We may use Stripe or another payment processor to process payments, store reusable payment methods, authenticate transactions, prevent fraud, and manage billing. Depending on the checkout integration, the payment processor may collect payment-card information directly through its secure fields or hosted checkout. eStoreware USA generally receives transaction details, status, tokens, card brand, expiration information, and the last four digits rather than an unmasked card number.

Payment processors use personal information under their own privacy notices and may act as processors, service providers, or independent controllers for fraud prevention, regulatory, authentication, and payment-network purposes.

How we disclose personal information

We may disclose information to:

• Service providers: hosting, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, support, analytics, accounting, security, backups, communications, and professional advisors.
• Payment and financial providers: payment processors, card networks, banks, fraud-prevention services, and billing providers.
• Client-authorized vendors and integrations: suppliers, product-data providers, shipping providers, marketplaces, FTP/SFTP endpoints, and systems you direct us to connect.
• Legal and safety recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, insurers, auditors, or other parties when disclosure is required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or property.
• Business transaction recipients: potential or actual buyers, investors, lenders, successors, or advisors in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their independent direct marketing without appropriate notice or consent. We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We may verify identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization.

California and other U.S. state disclosures

In the preceding 12 months, the categories described in this Policy may have included identifiers; customer-record information; commercial information; Internet or electronic activity; professional or employment-related business contact information; approximate location derived from IP address; and inferences used for security, support, or service improvement. We collect and disclose these categories for the business purposes described above.

We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. If an enabled analytics, advertising, or third-party technology is treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a sale under applicable law, we will provide the required notice and opt-out method. Consumers may exercise applicable rights using the methods in the “Your privacy rights” section.

Children's privacy

The website and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

United States processing and international users

eStoreware USA is based solely in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. If you access the website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different privacy laws.

Third-party websites and client storefronts

Our website may link to third-party sites, marketplaces, vendors, payment providers, or client storefronts. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. A link or integration does not mean eStoreware USA controls the third party's collection or use of information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in services, technologies, vendors, law, or data practices. The revised Policy will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through email, account notice, website notice, or other appropriate method.
